Ric Scheinkman of Harpia Capital and David Camerini, partner of Fox Horan & Camerini LLP, co-organized a thought-provoking and informative day yesterday for the EMBRAPII – Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa e Inovação Industrial Mission from Brazil at Cornell Tech. The day’s events focused on discussing potential research collaboration opportunities with the Brazilian labs and EMBRAPII, and the startups/techs coming out of Cornell University and Cornell Tech, notably the presentations by Patrick Govang, Director of Innovation Partnerships, Center for Technology Licensing at Cornell University; Ron Brachman Director of the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute with an overview of Cornell, Cornell Tech, and the Institute; and Justin Finkelstein, SVP Data Analytics, Citi for an overview of Citi’s Innovation Lab at Cornell Tech.
