Melissa M. Rodriguez is a member of the Firm’s corporate practice group where she focuses on transactions for Latin American clients. Her work involves the corporate structuring of financial and real estate investment projects, due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, and other general corporate matters.
Previously, Ms. Rodriguez worked as a law clerk in a law firm in her native Dominican Republic where she assisted in the development of that firm’s newly formed corporate department. Ms. Rodriguez received an LL.B. Summa Cum Laude from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, a M.A. in International Studies from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and an LL.M. in International Business and Trade Law at Fordham University School of Law.
Ms. Rodriguez is a member of the bar in New York and the Dominican Republic. She is fluent in English and Spanish, and has basic knowledge of French.
